CITY OF CALEXICO ROCKWOOD ROLL-OUT
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The City of Calexico is proposing to implement a short-term demo bicycle/pedestrian-oriented promenade on Rockwood Avenue (Downtown) between 1st Street and 2nd Street just steps away from the Calexico West (Downtown) Port of Entry (POE) pedestrian crossing. The street will be temporary closed to through traffic in order to create a walkable outdoor district that will promote bicycle/pedestrian active transportation infrastructure, safe environment and achieve greenhouse gas reduction.
