Code Enforcement

Calexico Code Enforcement is responsible for ensuring compliance with city codes and ordinances to maintain public health, safety, and community standards. The department investigates complaints and proactively inspects properties for violations related to zoning, building standards, property maintenance, illegal dumping, inoperative vehicles, and other nuisances. By working with residents, businesses, and property owners, Code Enforcement seeks to address issues through education, notices, and, when necessary, citations or legal action.
