Request for Statement of Interest and Qualifications (SOQ) for Professional Engineering Services for Runway 8-26 Reseal Rehabilitation Project

The City of Calexico Public Works Department is soliciting Request for Statement of Interest and Qualifications (SOQ) from Airport Engineering Consultants for the Calexico International Airport.  

 

The required services include but not limited to: engineering services for preliminary design, bidding and construction phases, including incidental special services, for the above listed below project as funded under the FAA Airport Improvement Program.

 

The scope of work to be performed is the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for Runway 8-26 Reseal Rehabilitation Project.

 

The selection of the Consultant is being done in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E dated 9/25/2015 and applicable California statues and laws. The agreement between the City and the selected consultant will be subject to all applicable Federal Rules and Regulations as identified in AC 150/5100-14E. The most current version of the Federal Contract Provisions for Architectural/Engineering agreements will be attached to each PSA.

 

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals in response to this request for any reason. The City is not liable for any costs incurred by the Consultant in the preparation or presentation of a response to this request.

 

Interested firms should submit an original and five (5) copies along with one (1) electronic copy (USB) of the proposal must be received prior to 2:00 p.m. on October 22, 2026, at

The proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and be plainly marked in the upper left hand corner with the name and address of the bidder and bear the following:

Please note that late, emailed or faxed proposals will not be considered.

 

Copies of the Request for Qualification can be obtained at the office of the Public Works Department, 549 Pierce Avenue, Calexico, California 92231 or by visiting the City of Calexico website at www.calexico.ca.gov .

 

Consultant will be required to obtain a City of Calexico Business License once proposal is awarded.
