Request for Bids (RFB) for Water Conservation Kits

The City of Calexico is seeking bids from qualified vendors to furnish, assemble, package, and deliver residential water conservation kits for the City's Water Conservation Program. The City intends to procure approximately 4,000 to 4,100 complete water conservation kits through this competitive bid process. Final quantities will depend on the successful bidder's unit price, available project funding, and the City's final purchasing authorization.

Each water conservation kit shall include the components and meet the minimum specifications identified in the Request for Bids. All products shall be new and unused. The bid price shall include all costs necessary to provide the complete kits, including products, assembly, packaging, freight, delivery, and other applicable charges.

Sealed bids must be received by the Office of the City Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 18, 2026. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.

All bid packages must be sealed and clearly identified as “RFB – Water Conservation Kits.”

Bidders are responsible for reviewing the complete Request for Bids and any addenda or updates issued by the City prior to the bid deadline.

Questions regarding the Request for Bids must be submitted in writing to Karla Chaparro at kchaparro@calexico.ca.gov no later than September 11, 2026.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities or informalities, and make an award in the best interest of the City in accordance with applicable City purchasing requirements.

The successful bidder will be required to obtain a City of Calexico Business License following award, if applicable.
