NOTE: (Not to Exceed 3 Minutes) This is the time for the public to address the City Council on any item not appearing on the agenda that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council. The City Clerk will recognize you and when you come to the microphone, please state your name and place of residence for the record. While members of the public are encouraged to participate, it is unlawful to disturb or delay the Council meeting with personal or slanderous remarks. Group commentators may be requested to limit their group comments to 15 minutes.  The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda. If the item you wish to comment on is on the public portion of the agenda, we will take your comment when we get to the item on the agenda. Please direct your questions and comments to the City Council.  The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to adjust this time limit based on the number of speakers who wish to address the Mayor and City Council. 

 

 

All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are to be considered routine by the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Financing Authority/Planning Commission and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed. Any item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately by the City Council.

 

8.  Approval of City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Finance Authority/Planning Commission Minutes for Meetings of July 8, 2025, and July 30, 2025. 

 

9.  Authorize City Manager to Sign Deductive Change Order No. 6 with Rove Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $229,050.50 for Cole Boulevard between M.L. King Avenue and Bowker Road Rehabilitation Federal-Aid Project No. STPL-5168(035). 

 

10.  Authorize City Manager to Sign and File Notice of Completion for Cole Boulevard between M.L. King Avenue and Bowker Road Rehabilitation Federal-Aid Project No. STPL-5168(035). 

 

11.  Approve a Contract with The Pun Group Accountants & Advisors to Provide Financial Audit Services for the City of Calexico for Fiscal Year 2025, with Options to Extend Through Fiscal Year 2026 and 2027. 

 

12.  Authorize City Manager to Issue Purchase Order to Veolia WTS Services USA, Inc. in the Amount of $603,235.00 for the Rental of Three (3) Mobile Clarifiers During the Rehabilitation of Clarifier “B” and “C” Project at Water Treatment Plant. 

 

13.  Authorize City Manager to Sign Deductive Change Order No. 10 with Mountain Cascade, Inc. in the Amount of $63,585.84 for the New River Improvement Project – Calexico Reach.

 

13A  Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico Approving the Final Map for Phase 1 of the Las Palmas Mobile Home Park Consisting of 72 Manufactured Dwelling Units and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Associated Subdivision Improvement Agreement.
