CALL TO ORDER
Due to the Declaration of Emergency, this meeting is being held pursuant to authorization from the Governor’s Executive Orders. Some or all of the city council members may participate in this meeting by teleconference as authorized by Executive Order N-29-20 issued by the Governor of California on March 17, 2020.
Imperial County Public Health Director Janette Angulo has provided the City with Orange-Moderate Tier guidelines issued by the State for indoor gatherings. Effective this date, City Council meetings will be open for public attendance at 50% of capacity of the council chambers. All persons entering City Hall will be required to wear a facemask and observe social distancing guidelines.

During the current State of Emergency public comments will be received in the following ways: 1) Submit public comments via email by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2021 to ggarcia@calexico.ca.gov or via fax to (760) 768-2103. These comments will be read aloud during the meeting and entered into the record. 2) Make public comment live via Zoom by submitting the request via Zoom Chat. Persons should submit name and section of the agenda they wish to speak on such as “Public Comments” or by stating the “Agenda Item No.” Any comments received during or after the meeting will be distributed to the City Council and retained for the official record. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda.

- Presentation by Recreation Manager Gerardo on the Recreation Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
- Presentation by Library Manager Legaspi on the Library’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
- Presentation by Public Works Manager Falomir on the Public Works Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
