While members of the public are encouraged to participate, it is unlawful to disturb or delay the Council meeting with personal or slanderous remarks. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda. Please direct your questions and comments to the City Council.

A “Closed” Session of the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/ Calexico Financing Authority may be held in accordance with state law which may include, but is not limited to, the following types of items: personnel matters, labor negotiations, security matters, providing instructions to real property negotiators and conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation. The Closed Session will be held in the City Hall Conference Room located at 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California. Any public comment on Closed Session items will be taken before the Closed Session. 15.  Approval of Resolution No. 2024-__ of the City Council of the City of Calexico Authorizing the Establishment of an Un-House Outreach Service Team (U-HOST) Within the Calexico Police Department.

 

16.  It is Recommended that the City Council Approve the Resolution No. 2024-___ Authorizing an Agreement Between the City of Calexico and PMAM Corporation for Security Alarm Management.

 

17.  Authorize Acting City Manager to Issue Purchase Order to PureAir Filtration in the Amount of $113,340.00 for the Purchase and Installation of Two (2) Absorbent Media for Water Treatment Plant and Eastside Water Reservoir.

 

18. Authorize the Acting City Manager to Execute and Exclusive Negotiation Agreement Between the City of Calexico and Marco Antonio Madrigal Camarena, Jr. for the disposal of certain +/- 0.50-acre portion of 6th Street located west of the intersection of Emerson Avenue and 6th Street.

 

19.  Approval of Bid Documents for Sidewalk Improvement (Grant St., Calexico St., and Van de Graaff Ave.) Federal Project No. CML-5168(036) and Authorize the Public Works Department to Send the Project Out to Bid.

 

20.  Consider Resolution No. 2024-__, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico Adopting Water and Sewer Service Charges and Making Certain Findings and Taking Certain Actions Relating Thereto. (Item Requested by Mayor Pro Tem Moreno and Council Member Tylenda)

22.  Adopt a Budget Amendment Resolution No. 2024-___ for Fund No. 255 – American Rescue Plan (ARPA) in the amount of $16,300.00 to Purchase Desktop Computers, a Laptop, Drinking Fountain Replacement and Alarm System Repairs for the Carnegie Technology Center.
