Any comments received during or after the meeting will be distributed to the City Council and retained for the official record.  The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda.

A “Closed” Session of the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/ Calexico Financing Authority may be held in accordance with state law which may include, but is not limited to, the following types of items: personnel matters, labor negotiations, security matters, providing instructions to real property negotiators and conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation. The Closed Session will be held in the City Hall Conference Room located at 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California. Any public comment on Closed Session items will be taken before the Closed Session. Community office hours with Mayor Hodge have been suspended due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).  Community Office hours will resume on May 26, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at City Hall in the City Manager’s Conference Room, 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico.

9. The City Council of the City of Calexico Acting in its Capacity as the Legislative Body for the Calexico Community Facilities District No. 2003-1 (Bravo/Rodiles) Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Levy of Special Taxes within Improvement Area No. 1 of such District for Fiscal Year 2019-20.

10. Adopt Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico authorizing the City Manager or his Designee to Execute CARES Act Grant Offer Agreement and/or Any Documentation Pertaining to Grant No. 3-06-034-019-2020 with the Federal Aviation Administration (FDD) for the Calexico International Airport.

11. Approval of the Reorganization of the Community Services Department, Including the Elimination of Two Positions and Approval and Adoption of Three Job Descriptions and Relevant Salary Ranges.
