Members of the public will be able to make public comments in the following ways:

b) Submit public comments via email by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 to cityclerk@calexico.ca.gov or via fax to (760) 768-2103.  Public comments will be distributed to the City Council for their consideration and made available for public inspection.  Public comments will not be read aloud by the City Clerk during the council meeting.  They will be retained for the official record of the City.

c) Via Zoom by submitting the request via Zoom Chat.  Persons should submit name and section of the agenda they wish to speak on such as "General Public Comments" or "Agenda Item No."

A “Closed” Session of the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/ Calexico Financing Authority may be held in accordance with state law which may include, but is not limited to, the following types of items: personnel matters, labor negotiations, security matters, providing instructions to real property negotiators and conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation. The Closed Session will be held in the City Hall Conference Room located at 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California. Any public comment on Closed Session items will be taken before the Closed Session. CONSENT AGENDA

All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are to be considered routine by the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Financing Authority/Planning Commission and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed. Any item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately by the City Council.

6.  Approval of City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Financing Authority/Planning Commission Minutes for Meetings of April 15, 2026, May 6, 2026 and May 13, 2026.

7.   Approval of a Revised Salary Schedule for Directors and Contract Employees to Include the City Manager Position. 

8.   Approval of a Records Management Funding Agreement Between the City of Calexico Police Department and the Imperial County Department of Probation.

9.   Authorize the City Manager or his Designee to Sign Work Site Agreement with the Department of  Rehabilitation to Place Career Catalyst Program Participants in City Departments for the Period of September 2, 2026 to September 30, 2028.
