CALL TO ORDER
Due to the Declaration of Emergency, this meeting is being held pursuant to authorization from the Governor’s Executive Orders. Some or all of the city council members may participate in this meeting by teleconference as authorized by Executive Order N-29-20 issued by the Governor of California on March 17, 2020.

Until further notice, there will be no public access to City Council meetings, however, public participation is available in the following ways:

(Not to Exceed 3 Minutes) This is the time for the public to address the City Council on the Special Agenda Items only.  During the current State of Emergency public comments will be received in the following ways: 1) Submit public comments via email by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 to ggarcia@calexico.ca.gov or via fax to (760) 768-2103.  These comments will be read aloud during the meeting and entered into the record.  2) Make public comment live via Zoom by submitting the request via Zoom Chat. Persons should submit name and section of the agenda they wish to speak on such as “Public Comments” or by stating the “Agenda Item No.”  Any comments received during or after the meeting will be distributed to the City Council and retained for the official record. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda.

1. Presentation by City Manager Figueroa on Administration, Community & Economic Development and Development Services Departments’ Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

2. Presentation by Finance Director Lobatos on Finance Department Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

3. Presentation by Police Chief Gerardo on the Calexico Police Department Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

4. Presentation by Fire Chief Favila on the Fire Department Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
