Members of the public will be able to make public comments in the following ways:
a) In-person comments.
b) Submit public comments via email by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 to cityclerk@calexico.ca.gov or via fax to (760) 768-2103.

NOTE: (Not to Exceed 3 Minutes) This is the time for the public to address the City Council on the Special Agenda Items only.  The Mayor will recognize you and when you come to the microphone, please state your name and place of residence for the record. While members of the public are encouraged to participate, it is unlawful to disturb or delay the Council meeting with personal or slanderous remarks. Group commenters may be requested to limit their group comments to 15 minutes. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda. Please direct your questions and comments to the City Council.

2. Presentation by Recreation Manager Gerardo on the Recreation Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

3. Presentation by Library Manager Legaspi on the Library’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

4. Presentation by Police Chief Orozco on the Calexico Police Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

5. Presentation by Acting City Manager Contreras on the Development Services Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

6. Presentation by Acting City Manager Contreras on the Administration Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025

7. Presentation by Acting City Manager/Acting Fire Chief Contreras on the Fire Department’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
