The Mayor will recognize you and when you come to the microphone, please state your name and place of residence for the record. While members of the public are encouraged to participate, it is unlawful to disturb or delay the Council meeting with personal or slanderous remarks. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda. Please direct your questions and comments to the City Council.

A “Closed” Session of the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/ Calexico Financing Authority may be held in accordance with state law which may include, but is not limited to, the following types of items: personnel matters, labor negotiations, security matters, providing instructions to real property negotiators and conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation. The Closed Session will be held in the City Hall Conference Room located at 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California. Any public comment on Closed Session items will be taken before the Closed Session. Any required announcements or discussion of Closed Session items or actions following the Closed Session will be made in the City Council Chambers, 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California.

4. Adopt Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico Authorizing the Submittal of Application(s) for All CalRecycle Grants and Payment Programs for which the City of Calexico is Eligible in the Amount of $83,081.00. (Public Works Manager)
5. Authorize City Manager to Purchase and Install Two Johnston Short Coupled Vertical Turbine with Motor Pumps (Water Distribution Pumps) for the Water Treatment Plant in the Amount of $240,906.12 from Brax Company, Inc. (Public Works Manager)
6. Authorize City Manager to Sign Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement of Professional Services with Lee & Ro, Inc. in the Amount of $98,992.00 for Engineering Services for Sewer Lift Station NO. 9 and 11, Sewer Collection and Water Distribution System Improvement Project for a Total Contract Amount of $520,209.00. 7. Adopt Budget Amendment Resolution for Fund No. 255 – American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in the Amount of $12,800.00 for the Replacement of Air Conditioning Unit at Senior Hall.
8. Adopt Budget Amendment Resolution for Fund No 255 – American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to Reallocation $50,000.00 from Park Improvements at Border Friendship Park (Genaro “Teco” Monroy) to Facility Improvement for Temporary Police Department Substation.

Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calexico Pursuant to Public Contract Code (PCC) Section 22035 Finding that an Emergency Existed Due to the Need to Repair One (1) Sinkhole in the Intersection of First Street and Heber Avenue and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Contract Without Competitive Bidding Pursuant to PCC Section 22050 in the Amount of $125,600.07 to Fix the Sinkhole. (Public Works Manager)
12. Introduction and First Reading by Title Only of an Ordinance Adopting a Zone Text Amendments to Section 17.03.140 of the Zoning Ordinance to Allow Carports within the Established Front Yard Setback of Residential Zones. (Contracted Planner)
