Members of the public will be able to make public comments in the following ways:

b) Submit public comments via email by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 to cityclerk@calexico.ca.gov or via fax to (760) 768-2103. Public comments will be distributed to the City Council for their consideration and made available for public inspection. Public comments will not be read aloud by the City Clerk during the council meeting. They will be retained for the official record of the City.

A “Closed” Session of the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/ Calexico Financing Authority/Planning Commission may be held in accordance with state law which may include, but is not limited to, the following types of items: personnel matters, labor negotiations, security matters, providing instructions to real property negotiators and conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation. The Closed Session will be held in the City Hall Conference Room located at 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California. Any public comment on Closed Session items will be taken before the Closed Session. Any required announcements or discussion of Closed Session items or actions following the Closed Session will be made in the City Council Chambers, 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California.

All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are to be considered routine by the City Council/Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency/Calexico Financing Authority/Planning Commission and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed. Any item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately by the City Council.
7. Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Sign Non-Exclusive License Agreement between the City of Calexico and Catholic Charities for the Use of the Senior Hall for the Provision of Affordable Meals to Senior Citizens for the Period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
8. Authorize the City Manager to Sign Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of Calexico and the Imperial Community College School District for the Purpose of Providing Courses in City Facilities for the Period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027.
9. Resolution of the City of Calexico Accepting the State of California Citizen’s Option for Public Safety (COPS) Funds for FY 2023-2024.

13. Food Truck Workshop – Discussion on Regulatory Framework for Mobile Food Vendors.
14. Approval of the Purchase of a Type 1 Fire Engine Using COVID-19 Reimbursement Funds and a Budget Amendment Resolution to Allocate Funding.
15. Proposed Capital Improvement Program Implementation Plan DRAFT Outline.
