Planning Commission
The Planning Commission which may be known and referred to as the "city planning commission" or the "planning commission" is created and established under and pursuant to the provisions of that certain act of the legislature of the state of California which is designated and referred to as the "Conservation and Planning Act," Statutes of 1947, Chapter 807, as amended to date, and as the same may be amended after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter.
Due to adoption of Ordinance No. 1172 on October 20, 2016, Section 1. Addition of Section 2.28.045 to the Calexico Municipal Code adds the Powers and duties of Street naming committee to the Calexico Planning Commission.
