Notice of Intention to Amend the Conflict of Interest Code of the City of Calexico

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Calexico intends to amend its Conflict of Interest Code (the "Code") pursuant to Government Code Section 87306.

 

The Appendix of the Code Designates those employees, members, officers, and consultants who make or participate in the making of decisions and are subject to the disclosure requirements of the City's Code.  The City's proposed amendment is necessary to include new positions that must be designated and deletes titles of positions that have been abolished and/or positions that no longer make or participate in making governmental decisions.

 

The proposed amended Code will be considered by the City Council on December 4, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the City of Calexico, 608 Heber Avenue, Calexico, California.  Any interested person may be present and comment at the public meeting or may submit written comments concerning the proposed amendment.
