Oversight Board
The Oversight Board for the Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency (Oversight Board) was
created pursuant to the state law that dissolved the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Calexico
(Former RDA), along with all 400 redevelopment agencies in California. Pursuant to Assembly Bill x1 26 (AB 26)
the Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency (RDA) was dissolved on February 1, 2012. The Oversight Board
oversees the actions of the Calexico Community Redevelopment Agency Successor Agency in winding down
redevelopment pursuant to state law.
Pursuant to AB 26 the Successor Agency Oversight Board consists of 7 members appointed by and representing
the following :
County Board of Supervisors
Mayor
A former redevelopment agency employee
Largest special district taxing entity (Heffernan Memorial Healthcare District)
Chancellor of California Community Colleges
County Superintendent of Education
